What’s Most Popular at NEJM.org?
Lists of what users are downloading and e-mailing, what the press is covering, what blogs are talking about, and what researchers are citing.
The "Most Popular" feature presents rank-order lists of articles and search terms based on how often they are being used in various ways.
We are testing six different lists in this beta application:
- MOST VIEWED – The articles that our users are downloading most often, updated every day
- MOST CITED – The articles that are being cited in the literature, updated every month
- WIDELY COVERED IN THE PRESS – The articles that the press is covering, updated every day
- TOP SEARCH TERMS – The most common search terms, updated every day
- MOST BLOGGED – The articles that bloggers are linking to, updated every day
- MOST E-MAILED – The articles that our users think their colleagues should know about, updated every week
