New PowerPoint-compatible Slide Sets

Reviews, Clinical Practice, Clinical Therapeutics, and Case Records of the MGH

In early 2006, we introduced PowerPoint-compatible slide sets for our Original Articles (research articles). These were created because individual slides of NEJM figures and tables had proved very popular with users.

The slide sets for our Original Articles have become popular quite quickly. They are being used in many different settings, mostly to educate peers and discuss new findings.

Now we are introducing new slide sets for some of our most popular article types – Review Articles, Clinical Practice articles, the new Clinical Therapeutics series, and the Case Records of the Massachusetts General Hospital.

All slide sets include a title/author slide, plus all the figures and tables. For the Case Records there is a slide with the presenting complaint and a slide showing the final diagnosis. The case vignettes are included with the Clinical Practice and Clinical Therapeutics slide sets, as well as Conclusions and Recommendations.

Please let us know what you think. How can we further improve our slide sets?
